I have some truly wonderful news for you which I must tell you because it is truly the best news you could ever hear. The best way for me to tell it to you is to quote from the Bible, which is the inspired Word of God.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16 NKJV
This verse tells us that God loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to earth to die on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. As a result sin is no longer the issue, the issue is belief in Jesus Christ.
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved" Acts 16:31 NKJV
Jesus Christ Himself said:"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life." John 6:47. NKJV
We need the salvation provided by Jesus Christ because we are all sinners. This isn't how God created man in the beginning, but He gave man free will to make his own choices. Unfortunately man used the free will God gave him to rebel against God, and as a result all men are sinners. None of us measure up to the standard of the righteousness of God.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23 NKJV
"There is none righteous, no not one" Romans 3:10 NKJV
God is absolutely righteous and just, and the penalty for sin must be paid. Because of His love for us, Jesus Christ paid the penalty for the sins of the entire human race.
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" Romans 5:8 NKJV
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord." Romans 6:23 KJV
"He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world." I John 2:2 ESV
Therefore this offer of eternal life is open to every single person in the human race. It doesn't matter who you are, where you are, how old or young you are, or what has happened to you in your life, this offer is to you. All you have to do is accept it.
Jesus Christ is the one and only way to salvation.
"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12 NIV
"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6 NKJV
It is impossible for us to get to heaven on the basis of our own works. Jesus Christ did it all for us. We must trust solely in Him.
"For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God's gift, not from works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8&9 HCSB
The Apostle John makes the way of salvation very clear in His gospel. This is how he concludes his gospel: "These are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name" John 20:31 NKJV
Why reject this gift? Don't you want to go to heaven when you die? You know that there is a God! You know that you aren't perfect! You know that you cannot stand before the absolute righteousness of God on your own! You need Jesus Christ! So don't wait!
Unfortunately the human race is still in rebellion against God, and many choose to reject this gift. Please don't reject it! You don't want the alternative! Not only that, it is a free gift.
"He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." John 3:36. NKJV
"He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God" John 3:18. NKJV
Heaven or Hell? It's your choice and your eternal future hangs in the balance. This is the most important decision you will ever make.
